Year 2023: A Journey of Growth and Expansion

The year 2023 was a year full of empowerment, fun, and new adventures. Cherina Tidwell Productions formed many new connections, new business ventures, and was able to serve the masses through new outreach programs. One major highlight was that the production company expanded and now provides services for Virginia, Atlanta, Houston, California, and New York City! This was a major milestone for the company and now has additional opportunities under the Cherina Tidwell Productions umbrella. Let’s recap the year and discuss how these amazing opportunities came about!

At the beginning of the year we assisted Hakeem Zarif in completing “The American Dream” program. This is a 6-week program that Cherina offers to new or established business owners to build and create strategic branding strategies. This program also offers leadership coaching.

With his vision and partnering with the firm, Hakeem is now a certified licensed Business owner of “Granny’s Global Gro” located in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

A major collaboration happened in 2023 that spawned a new business for the next generation. Let’s celebrate and extend a huge congratulations to Aniya N’Shay for her collaboration with her Mother (Cherina) to sell shapewear. Together, they’ve explored various wraps, waist trainers, shapers, and more. The Body Belts have proven to be particularly effective for the curvy community. Throughout this collaborative journey, they’ve dedicated time to understanding both inner and outer body needs, and the results are fantastic! Cherina really enjoys being able to work along side her daughter. This was a wonderful business venture for her daughter Aniya.

Cherina Tidwell Productions has consistently prioritized community outreach. In the month of February, the production company aimed to ensure everyone had the chance to make their significant other feel special. As part of their outreach program, they curated a Valentine package that could be delivered as a surprise gift. Recognizing that Valentine’s Day can be challenging for some individuals, this initiative was a wonderful way to spread love and make people feel cherished.

Also during the love month of February, Cora Jakes and Cherina Tidwell led an amazing discussion with fantastic groups of women globally. The gathering took place in the MetaVerse and centered around the theme “Valuable @ Valentine’s.” The enriching conversation was about the importance of self-love and self-respect.

One of the goals of the community outreach sector of Cherina Tidwell productions is to positively impact the future generation. Cherina Tidwell Productions, Virginia, submitted a proposal to implement “The American Dream” curriculum for Hampton City schools. Through dedication and hard work the curriculum was approved! With parents permission students are able to learn about branding and business. This will give students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge. This is an amazing new journey and a great partnership with Hampton City Schools to empower the youth.

Cherina Tidwell Productions, Texas, has made major growth! Beauty Billionaire was started in Houston, Texas. With 20 years as a Hair Care Specialist Cherina created a hair care system and class dedicated to help stylist and clients grow.

“After being forced to be creative, this idea came about in my garage in August 2021. Today, we launched and I am forever grateful with expansion underway”, Cherina says.

During the summer of 2023, The Leaders of CTPVA served, assisted, and facilitated “The American Dream” Program/Curriculum for the Boys and Girls Club, Shell Road. The curriculum was shared along with activities stimulating the students minds to develop success strategies.

Terrance Carolina, the Founder of Shell Road Fun Dayz, also hosted weekend activities at the BAGC during the summer. Partnering with the Boys and Girls Club on Shell Road has always been such a joy for the company. Cherina Tidwell Productions values all of you and wants to see everyone win.

Continuing our mission to make a positive impact on the masses, last year Cherina announced that Cherina Tidwell Productions, California is set to launch in Fall 2024. CTPCalifornia will offer the finest goods, products, and services in the cannabis industry.

As a Care Company, the goal is to provide consumers with understanding in pursuits. The present generation requires leaders who are well-developed, educated, and equipped to lead with love.

In October 2023 Cherina Tidwell Productions expanded to New York!!! This sector of the business is focused on modeling and the beauty industry. The 1st event was a Meet and Greet with Petite Plus size Model/Actress/ Influencer Jeannie Ferguson.

The conversation was about how to become a brand ambassador, runway or print model, and learning about the perks of the industry.

Another highlight of the year is that Cherina Attended the Women’s Evolve event in Arlington, Texas Led by Sara Jakes Roberts. It was an event full of learning and growing with other spiritual leaders.

Beauty Billionaire continued to make major strides throughout the year as well and Cherina celebrated her very first Virtual Hair Client, all the way from Fort Lauderdale, Florida! With guidance from Linda Scott-Houston, Cherina successfully executed this virtual transformation.

“She transitioned from potential inches to what could have been stitches, but by the grace of God, I became a healthy vessel for His glory. After step by step instruction via FaceTime & FB Messenger, Beauty Billionaire saved the day. From the salon chair to her bathroom mirror together, WE MADE HER DAY!!!”, Cherina says.

As the year continued, The GiGillionaire Girlz, a young women’s organization, led by Aniya and Anaizah Tidwell, made major headway continuing to make sure that communities are being impacted in a positive way.

The group announced their very first Global partnership with the Grassroots Foundation in Nigeria, West Africa to increase the company’s outreach to empower, educate, and entertain.

This was a 2-day event held for recent graduates to have fun and celebrate their recent accomplishments. There was food, games, music, and lots of activities to participate in and enjoy! This was a great way to give back to the community and celebrate the youth!

One of the missions of Cherina Tidwell Productions is to serve the community and that is always what they continue to do! The team made a stop at The Boys and Girls Club on April 7th, in Hampton, VA, to host a pizza party!

The members were able enjoy pizza and play games while also hearing a message from Lash Technician and Business Owner, Daziana Freeman. She was able tell the children her story and how she was able to turn her passion into a business. This was a great opportunity for the children of the boys and girls club to learn how they can own businesses and make a difference in their community.

Cherina Tidwell Productions Has Been on the Move!

Cherina Tidwell Productions has been on the move “literally”! The Production company is breaking ground in the Atlanta Market. Currently the move has mostly been about networking and making connections, but this is excellent opportunity for the production company to be able to expand. Stay tuned to see what magic happens in this area! Although the production company is making ground in Atlanta they are not taking their foot off the gas in their other prominent markets.

On March 6th, Cherina participated as a Guest Speaker in the “It’s Time to Fly” women’s conference in Virginia Beach, VA. The event was hosted by Rose CiConta, Business Owner and Entrepreneur, and Jana Johnson, Entrepreneur and Author.

The program was a 3 day experience created for women to come together in a non-judgement zone. The goal was to help participants move past the experiences of the past and to help them learn to move towards Gods purpose and plan.

This Month Cherina also participated, as a speaker, in the “Girl Power Activate” empowerment series for teen girls in Wilmington, NC. This events was presented by the organizations Girls Rocking in the South (GRITS). Girls Rocking in the South (GRITS) is a mentoring organization serving teenage girls ages 12-18 in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas. They offer a positive environment for young ladies to openly talk and express themselves about issues that they may face in their lives. The organization also offers monthly workshops that are aimed at girls developing/enhancing self-esteem skills, financial literacy, etiquette, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and educational/career development among other topics. We also offer various travel and community service opportunities throughout the year.

Hello 2022! Is that you!

The year 2021 was an amazing year for Cherina Tidwell Productions.  The community leaders, corporate sponsors, partners, and supporters came together to help positively impact the community. Check out just a few of the highlights.

The Addicted2Happiness outreach team donated their time and efforts to help their local community through outreach initiatives, donations, and more. Some of the programs included giving “Blessing Bags”. The Blessing Bags are a way to honor and acknowledge outstanding contributors in the community with a token of appreciation. The team appreciates everyone that have their boots on the ground and work hard to make their community great.

During Teacher Appreciation week the owner of TasteBudz Catering delivered a catered lunch to Heritage High School Teachers. Due to the pandemic, teaching has looked very different. They were very appreciative of such a wonderful gift and that they were thought of.

The Addicted2Happiness Winter Outreach Initiative has begun!

November was an exciting month as the Winter Outreach Initiative began with the Addicted2Happeniness Team!

The Addicted2Happiness Outreach team was created to be a resource and help service the community around the 7 cities of the Hampton Roads area. This year’s focus were the residents of Hampton, VA,

One of their many stops was The Boys & Girls Club on Shell Road in Hampton, VA . The staff and children were met with a wonderful surprise including a catered meal and gifts.

Young entrepreneur of Sweet Tooth Café, Anaizah Tidwell, catered a delicious meal that included Homemade Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti, Garlic Toast, and Side Salad. She prepared enough food to feed 100.

Aniya Tidwell, founder of Aniya’s Angels, donated items so that the children were able to give gifts to their loved one’s for the holidays.

Charles Holloway, real estate broker of  The Holloway Experience, gave the children hope that they can be successful and reminded them of how special they are. With hard work and dedication their dreams can come true.

Terrance Carolina, mentor for the Boys & Girls club and shell road community, was pivotal in allowing this effort to happen and was really thankful for the Addicted2Happiness team contributions.

Before You Vote for Others, Bet On Yourself and Vote for God

There are lots of great conversations happening every week on the “Podcast Party” podcast. And last week was no different. We just embarked on another local election season and it sparked interesting thoughts. This question was brought up, “Why do people go out and vote for others, but never bet on themselves or vote for God”, will you choose you? These were great questions, that led to many different thought-provoking perspectives.

The podcast began with Cherina referencing a message she heard from Pastor Michael Todd and in his message spoke he spoke about a boat and how it relates to your life.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, ^jthat we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

The word “ship” became a topic from the word workmanship and how it can be relevant real life scenarios. Cherina stated that when she thinks of  the work “ship” she thinks about relationships, companionships, cruise ships, etc.

If Jesus made a decision to step onto your boat like he did for Simon in the bible, would your boat be ready? Could your boat handle the deep water?, Handle the wind?, Cherina says.

When Cherina thought about her boat she stated she would need a big boat and she thought about Noah’s Ark. Can you imagine how big Noah’s Ark had to be?

She posed this question to her audience. If you could have spiritually created a boat, would you have thought about Noah’s Ark, when you initially thought about a boat. Do you have faith that big?

Do you have sailboat mentality? No boat mentality? Do you have Noah’s Ark mentality? What type of workmanship are you offering? What are you doing when you are supposed to be building your boat”, Cherina says.

The analogy of the boat could be in reference to your life goals, your dreams, home, anything that you are working towards.

“When God makes a decision to step onto your boat, or if you decide to invite him onto your boat, can you handle what he is bringing”, Cherina says.

This is a major question to ask yourself as you reflect on your life and your decision making as it relates to your goals.

Due to this podcast going on during the election these questions were asked. Did you choose you? Are you campaigning for yourself?

When you are voting you are assisting the person and voting for the greater good for others. That is wonderful, but you do have to take the time to vote to bet on yourself and go after things you want.

After much discussion this next scenario was painted for her audience during the podcast.

Say you ran a campaign and you won. You stopped putting everyone before you, you started giving yourself some “me time” inviting God into your “me time”. You started making people be accountable and available for their own actions, you are no longer enabling people, you’re just focused.

Cherina then goes on to say…

You have detached yourself from toxic environments, situations, things, and people, and you’re just living a life, where you can get a glimpse of what peace looks like, you get a glimpse of trying not to be someone you’re not…Once you get a glimpse of peace, there is no going back to toxic relationships, toxic jobs, etc, So you finally made a decision to choose you today. It’s election day but God chooses you, the question is will you choose him?

This was great food for thought during the postcast. This was so important for listeners to hear. Sometimes when we don’t choose ourselves, we are consumed by things that are not good for us.

There were many unforgettable moments during the podcast and that sparked really great conversations and quotes to live by. Cherina moves on to talk about what happens after you choose God.

“When you choose God you will never be disappointed. He will be with you though your pain and through your process. Before you choose an elected official choose Jesus, and he will direct your path.”, Cherina says.

Now that you have voted for yourself and chose God, and prepared your boat, What’s next?

Cherina goes on to talk about God saying that he would want you to go ahead and start your business and use your gifts and talents. Don’t wait to work on your goals, take action, and learn along the way.

Many of the takeaways from this podcast was to make sure you are not dedicating all your energy to something that is not going to benefit your life. Vote for yourself to be happy, put God 1^st, and don’t be afraid to follow the path that God has created for you. Don’t procrastinate. Work towards your life goals and gain knowledge to be ready to receive God’s blessing. Will your “boat” be ready.  

“Are you ready for what God has for you for real”, Cherina says. “You were chosen, you voted for him, you chose yourself finally, and now is the time to do the work. Now let us campaign properly, let us show up, let us be on time, let us look the part, let us act the part, be the image of Jesus, let us be nice, patient, kind, faithful, have self-control, discipline gratefulness, and love!”

Color Me Bad Experience

Have you heard about the “Color Me Bad” Experience? Last Saturday, Cherina hosted an event called the “Color Me Bad” experience where participants were able to reflect through their past, present, and future while using art and color to express themselves.

“The ” Color Me Bad ” Experience is taking a step out of time to travel back to our past, color through our present, and color your future based on what Gods word tells us.”, Cherina says.

This event derived from her podcast “The Podcast Party”. During an episode, there was a discussion about the cinematic cortex of our minds and how that colors a new canvas for our lives.

Cherina says, “The response from this discussion was amazing and God turned it into an event”.

Many attendees shared how the event was able to help them overcome many things from their past. Some participants shared that the activity helped them face pain and that they thought was resolved. Another attendee discussed their hurtful childhood and how God was able to help them through that difficult time. The activity was able to help shed light on how to overcome.

Lots of healing took place at the event as one family was able to talk through their issues and mend relationships that were broken and problems that were avoided.

“As a leader I’ve learned to trust God because his plan is always better than mine. Just do it. Even when you’re not sure, follow through because somebody’s life will be impacted”, Cherina says,

The “Color Me Bad” experience is a great event to be entertained, empowered, and educated.

Cherina Tidwell Watson is an Empowerment Producer and created her Production Company, Cherina Tidwell Productions, to fill a void in the industry. Her belief has always been to positively impact everyone she meets. Cherina Tidwell Productions is a company that empowers, educates and entertains no matter the platform.

Cherina states, “Our strategies and beliefs cause our audience to open up and receive/engage in an amazing experience. God is what holds everything together. Being encompassed by His word has kept us since September 26, 2008.”

The pandemic affected many companies and caused businesses to slow down. Cherina Tidwell Productions has always been a company/brand known for its relevant creativity & innovation, so the pandemic allowed time for company reflection.

“During the pandemic, I’ve come to realize life is what you make it. Based on your mentality, you bring on what you think about. This isolated time God gave me the opportunity to get to know me, build a deeper relationship with my Father and my family. God is the mastermind behind the vision, so as He flows, we follow. Understanding God is in total control allows us to be able to stand even in the midst of the storm, Cherina says.

Amidst the pandemic, there are new and exciting things happening at Cherina Tidwell Productions! In November of 2020, the Podcast Party was launched and Cherina also became a Personal & Business Consultant.

Great Things to Come in 2014!

Cherina Tidwell has been on the move and great things are continuing to come. Over the past few years starting from what was a dream into a reality, she has made a lot of things happen through persistence and believing. She started her own business avenues and created her own lanes by starting her own Full Figured Modeling Company , Production company, and talk show. 

By starting those things now Cherina Tidwell has new things to add to her name.  One of Tidwell’s new business ventures is investing in Organo Gold. Investing in this company has allowed her to build another stream of income. Having this extra income  has helped her continue to pursue her other dreams and goals. This investment in herself has enabled her to invest in others and helping them to pursue their dreams and goals as well. 

 

Ms. Tidwell is now an Empowerment Specialist. With this new title added under her belt she is contracted by companies to help educate and empower employees to believe in themselves and strive for greatness. Every month Tidwell will speak, participate, or attend  3 events to educate and empower individuals. This is allowing her to continue to spread her message to the world. 

Because of this new and exciting venture it has allowed Tidwell, along with her business partners, to create a new movement. It is called “PHAZES”. “PHAZES” is a movement that will shed light on “Being Yourself”. Many things will happen with this organization. Every month there will be great events to attend. The events will include excellent information that will equip, provide knowledge, and be a support system for individuals. This support system will help people to live their best life and live life to the fullest. 

Also this year Cherina Tidwell will receive her certification as a Life Coach. Being a life coach will also allow her to continue to spread her message and encourage people to greatness. She took charge of her life and she wants others to do the same. 

 These past few years have been great and she have new titles to add to her name. 2014 is going to be a great an interesting ride  with new and exciting ventures.
